Welcome to R.i.b.b.o.n.s of S.i.l.k! This site takes place in an AU (alternate universe). The characters in this site live in an old-time village where the schools consist only of two grades with two teachers, and most villagers are farmers. The girls in the village (and the castle) marry at about fifteen and their father's choose who their husband is. Balls are frequent up at the castle and the royal family is very excited about the upcoming Spring Ball. Meanwhile, in the village, someone or something is picking off livestock from the villagers. The people of the village are filled with fear, frightened so that they travel together, not straying from a small group.

Appearance: Frederick has a king's appearance to be sure. His light hair is cut neatly and washed frequently. Tall and proud desire his aura quite well. His green/blue eyes have the look of a king to be in them: full of pride, wisdom, knowledge, and bravery. His fair skin has few freckles about it. His clothes are of the finest, well tailored by the masters of sewing in the kingdom.

Personality: Frederick is over all a good man, though he is prideful and slightly shunning toward the peasants. If someone were in distress he would help them, despite their class. He is quite knowledgeable in mythology, literature, science, and mathematics. He cares very much for his sisters but is wary of his brother, in fear they may become jealous of his rightful inheritance of the throne. If anything were to happen to any of his family he would help them in all his ability, though it does not care to risk his own life if it will do no one any good in the long run. He is a good man for the job of being king later in his life.

History: When Frederick was born it was a joy to his family. The first son was to be the king and his parents could see it in his eyes when they first opened. He was given the name Frederick in hopes that when he ruled he would not bring war and destruction to the land. He was raised with the best of tutors for his mind and trainers for his body. All that was needed to be a king came to his knowledge. Ladies were always trying to catch his eye at balls but he learned to live with it, and at the same time look for a proper bride for when he was king.

One more sentence in personality.

And just so you know, Abigail and the first brother are supposed to have a close bond with each other. I put in her bio that "many believe Abigail will become his advisor when he's made king". But....it's up to you. =]
